Dr. Catherine Stoner

Dr. Cat is a three-time Ohio State University graduate, finally culminating with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She joined the FVC family as a veterinarian in 2015, but spent many years here as a receptionist and assistant all through college – she has known some of you for more than a decade! She has a special interest in small animal dermatology, senior pet care, urinary issues, and behavior. She and her husband, Isaac, have two little girls, Mariah and Alivia, as well as plenty of pets: Corbin and Willy, her black and tan mutts (her favorite “breed”), plus kitties Leeloo, Stella, Diva, and Monster. Dr. Cat loves gardening, hiking, and helping her parents sell their organic produce at Farmers’ Markets on the weekends.

Dr. Monica Thielsen

Dr. Monica is a 2014 graduate of Ohio State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine and worked at another mixed-animal clinic in eastern Ohio before joining the FVC family in 2016. She sees small animals as well as equine and farm animals and has a special interest in surgery. She and her husband, Scott, currently have their hands full as foster adoptive parents to a sweet little boy. They also have two energetic pups, Summer and London. Dr. Monica is an avid athlete and enjoys volleyball, softball, competitive bowling, and cross-fit!

Dr. Scott Harmon

Dr. Scott is now enjoying semi-retirement as the former owner of FVC. He is working part-time to service the farms in our community for all their herd check and wellness needs. He also still enjoys small animal surgery so you’ll still catch him in the clinic from time to time! In his free time, you can find him with his wife – Dr. Ann DiFrancesco, who is also retired – on the running trails or in the vegetable garden. He also stays busy in the field during hunting season. Drs Scott and Ann spend a lot of time on the road as well to see son Wyat race on his college’s cross country and track team.

Libby Javurek

RVT, Practice Manager, Owner

Libby wears many hats at FVC – not only is she an owner and Practice manager, she is a highly skilled technician with a passion for animal dentistry! Libby handles all the behind the scenes work involved with keeping a clinic this size running while at the same time using her many years of knowledge and experience to give the best care possible to all our patients. We truly don’t know how she does it all! Whether it’s a chicken or a chihuahua, a sheep or a siamese, you can’t find an animal she isn’t comfortable handling! She has a special place in her heart for beagles and regularly fosters for a local beagle rescue. She and her husband, Austin, have two boys, Jacob and Aiden, and a whole crew of dogs, cats, and chickens. She relaxes at home by running, playing with her foster beagles, and chasing around two active boys.

Rachel Lashley

Rachel has been part of the FVC family for almost three decades so she’s a very familiar face to many of you. She is also always a calming touch for our patients, taking the time to get to know each pet and make sure they are comfortable during their exams and during recovery from surgery. Rachel does an amazing job keeping up with product ordering and maintaining all our laboratory equipment in between assisting with appointments, surgeries, and large animal farm visits. When she’s not working hard here, she enjoys spending time with her husband (David), son and daughter-in-law (Ian and Kylie), and her many special pets – especially Milla!

Alisha Butts

Alisha has been part of the FVC family since 2011. She grew up and still works on her parents’ farm and is our go-to person for any large animal question. She is an incredibly skilled technician on farm calls, don’t be fooled by her size! She can handle even the most unruly mama cow! Alisha is a great asset during emergencies and surgeries as she always stays calm and collected. When she’s not showcasing her amazing work ethic at the clinic or on the farm, she is spending time with her husband, Purcell, son, Austin, and two energetic German Shepherds!

Ashlie Doup

Ashlie has been part of the FVC family since 2015 but has been part of the local community for much longer! You may be familiar with her parents’ feed store – Elzy Milling and Trade in Bellville. Ashlie can always be trusted to handle every species we treat with care, compassion, and skill – from the tiniest kitten to the biggest draft horse. She has a special knack with fearful animals and helps the veterinarians safely and gently work with them during their exams. In her free time, Ashlie loves skiing and playing outdoors with her kiddos, Ruari and Eira, and husband Aaron.

Jessica Vorndran

Jessica recently graduated from Columbus State and OSU with a combination Bachelor’s Degree and Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology and we couldn’t be more proud of her! She has been with us for a long time and we have so enjoyed watching her skills grow. She doesn’t get to spend as much time with her FVC family now that she also works full time at MedVet in the radiology department, but she does come back from time to time on Saturdays so you will still see her friendly face around! Jessica spends her free time with her Great Pyrenees, Lazarus, and taking care of the barn kitties at her home.

Melissa Landis

Melissa is another technician who hasn’t been with FVC for many years but has always been part of our community. We were so lucky to snag her when she mentioned she was interested in part time work at a veterinary clinic to keep her technician skills sharp, as she also works in a lab setting at Batelle in Columbus. Melissa fits right in with her cheerful attitude, willingness to tackle any job, and love of all creatures great and small!!

Kelli Flanagan

Pending RVT

Kelli joined the FVC family in 2019 after graduating from Columbus State and jumped straight into life in a mixed animal practice! She’ll be taking her state board exam soon to become a Registered Veterinary Technician and we know she’s going to do great! Kelli is a very detail-oriented person and is especially skilled at monitoring patients under anesthesia during surgical procedures and making sure their recovery is smooth and comfortable. In her free time, Kelli loves spending time with friends and family in the beautiful Ohio outdoors.

Bridget McKenna

Bridget is our receptionist extraordinaire! She is in charge of everything from scheduling appointments, checking in patients, making sure all questions get answered before discharge, and fielding all sorts of calls. She keeps the lobby area clean and tidy and makes sure the day runs smoothly for everyone. She always knows where to find coupons and rebates and works hard to keep costs down for our clients. We know our clients love having her friendly voice and face be the first thing they experience when calling or coming in. Bridget’s biggest joy in life is her family and being a grandma!

Lexie Lyons

Lexie is a Clear Fork grad who is now working on her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology while at the same time working at FVC as both a receptionist and assistant. Lexie loves how every day is different in a mixed animal practice, one day she is out on farm calls assisting Dr. Monica with cows, goats, and horses, the next day she may be helping out the other technicians and Dr. Scott during surgeries, and the next day be setting up diagnostics and getting bloodwork started for a sick dog or cat with Dr. Cat. Thankfully for us, she is a great help no matter where she is needed! You may see her sitting up front with a little fuzzball named Lemon, the cutest puppy ever!

Kenzie Rayburn

Kenzie, one of our lovely receptionists, is a current student at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University where she plays softball. Kenzie also works on her family’s dairy farm and isn’t afraid of a hard day’s work! She spends her free time with family and hiking with her pup, Grizz. Even though we’d love to have her as part of our family forever, Kenzie is pursuing a degree in nursing and we know she will make an amazing nurse!
